During my stay at Beijing Oriental Palace Hotel, I had mixed experiences. The room was spacious and clean, but it had a persistent cigarette smell that detracted from the luxury feel. The location was convenient for exploring the city, being close to the metro and several interesting areas. The staff were friendly and accommodating, but I experienced some slack service occasionally. Overall, it was a decent stay, but there’s room for improvement.

My recent stay at the Grand Mercure Dongcheng was nice, highlighted by the friendly staff and great location near the Hutongs. While the comfortable and spacious room offered a nice retreat, I encountered awkwardness during check-in, and the air conditioning could have been better. Overall, the really good service made up for the few hiccups. 😊

I had a pleasant stay at the Beijing Oriental Palace Hotel, where the clean and modern rooms offered a comfortable bed. though some areas for improvement could be found. The location is ideal, close to local eateries and attractions like the Hutongs, making it easy to explore the city. While the staff were friendly and accommodating, a little more warmth in their interactions would enhance the experience.

The service was attentive, and the staff made me feel welcome, but I did notice some areas in need of improvement. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with some minor drawbacks.

My stay at the Beijing Oriental Palace Hotel had its ups and downs. The location is fantastic for exploring the city, but my room was quite dark and in need of maintenance. While the staff were generally friendly, the dining experience left much to be desired, with cold meals and a lackluster breakfast buffet. Overall, I would lean towards recommending it with some caveats.

Rooms

The room I stayed in was spacious, but it felt dark and depressing with minimal sunlight. There were also cleanliness issues that needed addressing.
Service

Dining

Unfortunately, the meals were consistently cold and not very appealing. The breakfast buffet had a variety, but it often fell short of expectations, making me lean towards eating out instead.
Facilities

The facilities included room service and laundry, but there was nothing extraordinary to mention. A little more attention to detail in maintenance would go a long way.
